About Me

I received my BA in Art Education with a minor in English from University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) in 1991.  Since that time, I’ve taught in public and private schools, homeschooled my own children, and taught in after-school theater, art, and test prep programs.

I am pursuing a Masters of Education in Digital Learning and Leading at Lamar University, and plan to finish in the fall of 2019.  I currently serve as a TAP Mentor teacher and teaching English II in a local public high school.

I am currently living in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with my husband, son, and four dogs. I love to travel and attend college sporting events.
